Potential Title for Dissertation
Using Antibodies to Characterize Healthy, Disease, and Age States
Assessing Targets of the Immune System in Various Health States
I propose this title because my work has involved examining antigens of the immune system targeted by both B cells and T cells. I use the term "various health states" since that would include cancer as well as old age.
Kathy thinks this title is too broad and prefers something like
Exploring immune responses associated with cancer and aging

Examples of reference formats using different style guides

Organization

Preliminary matter (title page, abstract, table of contents, list of tables, etc.)
Main text (introduction and sections or chapters, with appropriate headings, footnotes or endnotes)
Back matter (notes, references, or bibliography, appendices, and biographical sketch)

Note that I can choose whether my dissertation is made available through "Open Access" or "Traditional Publishing". This is something I will have to come to an agreement on with my advisor and possibly a few other members of my committee.
It looks like I am not allowed to select "Open Publishing", and I do not know if this is the same as "Open Access"
Note that I must choose a subject category for my dissertation (I can also choose one or two subcategories). I would think I would choose Molecular Biology (under Biological Sciences category), and possibly Bioinformatics as well.
Note that I may need to include an IRB document
need to have a doctoral defense schedule form
Note: format review process: the defense must be scheduled and the document to begin the review process must be submitted in the same e-mail
Note that the style guide determines the format of the references
