post doc and aging conference
Hi _,
Your research on _ looks quite interesting to me. I would like to start
work on a post doctoral research project after this summer or shortly
thereafter, and I would enjoy working on the important and fascinating
research you are engaged in. I will be attending the CR Society 2013
conference at the Buck Institute this Wednesday through Saturday. If you
also attend this conference as well, perhaps we will run into each other.
My main project currently involves using mouse sera to screen a tumor
cDNA library for immunogens. Therefore, I am familiar with many molecular
biology techniques. However, I am also quite familiar with many
bioinformatic techniques and concepts, and I frequently write small
computer programs in Java to aid me in my research. I am always eager to
learn more, and I am very interested in contributing my time and effort
to research that can improve health and extend lifespan.
Perhaps I will see you at the Buck Institute this week! I'm really
looking forward to the CR Society 2013 conference!
