Here you get an overview of the supported formatting rules in mobiki. If you want to see how it is done, just press Edit at the bottom of the page.

Sections

Well, this is one. There is nothing more to say. Just start a single line with: !

Font faces

You can mark text as bold, italics and both

Lists - normal and numbered

You will get a list, if you start a new line with a dash for a normal list or a single number followed by a dot, like ".0" for example.

Code and preformatted Text

Code and other stuff without wiki formatting simply put in curly brackets:

Links to other external websites

External links and eMail-addresses are recognized automagically and you can also hide a link behind a specified own text using square bracket, your text, pipe, the URL and a closing square bracket. They are opened in a new browser tab:

Images

Images work automagically as well, just include the URL of the image you want. Images are with the standard template always stretched to maximum vertical width:

Internal links sometimes called wiki page names

Links to other wiki pages are done using square brackets. You always start with a link pointing to the void. If a page does not exist, it can be created the first time you click on the link. Click on "Sandbox" and you could simply write this new page - if you'd know the password for this site ;-)

Hashtags

Hashtags are also supported. They will show you a list of wiki all pages containing the same hashtag:
