Some neat cities near Madrid
- Avila: the city that my room-mate Dario came from with a well preserved medieval wall and some old churches and other structures. This city is about an hour northwest of Madrid
- Toledo: about an hour drive southwest of Madrid. This city has more Arabic influence than Avila
- Segovia: about an hour drive northwest of Madrid. This city has a nice aqueduct.
