What is the minimum amount of RNA that can be used in this reaction?
In the In-Fusion SMARTer Directional cDNA Library Construction Kit they
use 5-100 ng poly A+ RNA.
Note that this polymerase may not be ideal for use with poly T primers
with only one or two base pairs to bind to the transcript like the primer
in the In-Fusion SMARTer Directional cDNA Library Construction Kit
for an example of some cDNA results obtained using those primers see
