I showed him the data about screening the cDNA library pools for SMC1fs
and the chimeric transcripts

he wanted me to draw a Gantt chart
he mentioned I could compare expression level doing an actin titration

to determine level of SMC1fs expression in cell

look at some calculations to see how many transcripts there are per cell
look for the lower band in the top 10 SMC1fs pools <- I did this PCR

previously, but at that time I was using different PCR conditions so the
lower band may not have been there.

how many transcripts are there in a cell total?
it looks like I will need to screen the array again and use sera that is

known to bind to SMC1fs. He thinks Shen might have some of this sera. I
could also screen the array using sera against some of the chimeric
transcripts. If I make another array, I should include some SMC1fs spots
that are not diluted 1/1000
