Nice user friendly wiki that works mostly as expected

One issue is that tabs don't show up the way that I would like them to. I emailed the creator about this issue

If I make a change to a text file on my computer (which is later synced to the lionwiki project on a server), does the file get changed and is the history of the file maintained properly on the webpage and also on the local file system?

The answer to this question appears to be yes. 01-22-2015d1001. I might transition my wiki from mobiki to lionwiki

I like lionwiki quite a lot, and I am considering to use it for my own wiki.  However, I also see that it is not under active development, and it looks like it was no longer active after 2012.  Since you are quite familiar with the world of wikis, I just wanted to ask you if you knew of an alternative wiki engine that you really liked that is under active development.  Do you know of such an engine?  Note that I would want it to behave in much the same way as lionwiki (each page is a single text file).  I'm really considering using your wiki engine for my data.  You did some great work!
