Is there a way that I can make dokuwiki preserve all of the formatting of plain text with the exception that double brackets are still recognized to designate links? 









index imported files and allow any page name





I just started a new dokuwiki, but I am hesitant to continue with it due to a few limitations.  I wanted to be able to copy a folder of text files into the appropriate dokuwiki folder and have everything in my wiki work.  However, this doesn't seem to be working.  Although I can go to the pages, view, and edit them, dokuwiki does not index them for search until I navigate to them.  Is there a way to overcome this problem?





Also, is there a way to allow any name for a page name?  Currently I see that page names with spaces (in the imported text files) are not allowed.

Is there any simple way to automatically set the permissions of a page based on whether a certain word occurs in the title of the page?
