BDE Seminar Presentation 3-27-12
2013-12-01azim58 - BDE Seminar Presentation 3-27-12
I will talk about two topics in this presentation: the immunosignature
entropy topic as well as probing my tumor cDNA library if there is time.
Here are some presentations I will use as a reference for this
presentation:

Here is the scan from my notebook that I gave the presentation from.

Comments or insights from audience during presentation (I can't remember
them all but here are a few)
- what are the number of affinity and specificity (I should really find
- what is a child, adolescent, and adult for a mouse
- make sure to write natural log rather than log for the calculations
- People commented that I could get the entropy over a time course to
- Justin mentioned that I could purify antibodies against a specific
- I could also see the difference in entropy in a time course after
- Tom brought up the issue that more jagged peaks seen on the higher
to think about
o one thought is that some of the old sharp peaks could be due to
left over antibodies that developed at a younger age perhaps? Not
sure. .
- Afterward Cosmo told me about a book that looks quite interesting,
called Linked and was written by Albert Lazlo Barbasi. The book also
talks about Alfred Rangy and Ero^s. He mentioned that Jieping Ye here
at ASU does work with brain type scans and is giving a talk in a few
days. This may relate to the increase in the distribution of neuron
connections.

Bursts: The Hidden Pattern Behind Everything We Do
Here's an e-mail I sent to Cosmo about varying stimulation
Here's a followup e-mail to Johnny about the optimal entropy for life
