I think this is one of my favorite Android video players. This player can remember your last position in a video, it can play flv files in addition to mp4 files, and it also lets you close the screen and continue to listen to the sound.

actually, I don't know if I like this app. When I tried to use it, the app seemed kind of unpredictable at times and didn't always behave the way I expected/hoped. I uninstalled it.
