In line with this result, two papers showed that

the primary in vivo CD8+ T-cell response to syngeneic

spleen cells loaded with ovalbumin requires CD4+ T-cell

help to be assayed by intracellular cytokine staining or

tetramer staining 7 days after immunization39,40.

These papers look like they inject e. coli produced ovalbumin into e
coli, but they don't do an elispot with this whole protein.

* Is your "Ovalbumin, Purified" (LS003056) pure enough for immunoassays
  such as an ELISPOT? I have a friend who told me that pure protein has
  to be used. He had an experience in which he used protein produced from
  E. coli, and there appears to have been left-over E. coli components
  which greatly raised the immune response observed from the T cells in
  the ELISPOT. Thanks for any information you can offer me!
