Just to keep you in the loop. Hope this is useful to you. I've requested them to block their schedule for my tentative defense on November 19th between 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM. I don't know yet, if I'll be able to meet the deadline.....but as Dr. Johnston said, we'll keep working towards the best possible!

I wasn't sure if you were still checking your ASU e-mail, so forwarding this message to you here. I hope things are well with you.

I'm trying to check on committee members availability in November for a 3 hour slot for either the defense or a committee meeting depending on how things progress.

So far I've completed 2 papers/chapters of my dissertation and am working on finishing the remaining 2 papers.

3 committee members, Dr. Johnston, Dr. Stafford and Dr. Jacobs are available on the following days and times:

1.) November 15th - 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Afternoon looks clear

2.) November 18th - 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM    (how does 2:00 PM-5:00 PM look on your schedule?)

All except 11am to 2pm

3.) November 19th - 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

All except 12n- 2pm

4.) November 21st - 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (how does 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM look on your calendar?)

all except 12n-2pm

Please let me know if you would be available during any of these 4 time slots so that I could reserve the auditorium for us and send out a meeting invitation. Also please let me know if you wanted to meet sometime before the defense to touch base on all this data.

I assume you will be sending out a summary/write up. If I am confused after reading through it I ‘ll contact you RE if connecting prior to meeting.
