azim58 - University Village Apt air conditioning mechanics I talked to the people in the office about how the air conditioning works in our apartment. They said the temperature of the air is adjusted in a central chiller/boiler room located next to the laundry room. This temperature adjusted air is then blown into the apartments of all four buildings. Of course, there can be problems with the temperature system of an individual apartment that does not affect the other apartments, but the temperature of the air is adjusted in a central location.
