TiddlyWiki 06-01-2014d1613 This is quite nice wiki software! -A whole folder of text files can be dragged and dropped into the wiki -The wiki resides in one single html file which can be hosted from google drive (after clicking on the preview button after opening the html file) -text files can be imported, displayed, and searched -One bad feature is that having edits saved to the wiki in google drive is not convenient since the file has to be downloaded, the original has to be deleted, and the new one has to be put in it's place. However, for a personal wiki, it may not be such a big deal that other people cannot edit the wiki. Tiddlywiki forum https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/tiddlywiki some posts -TiddlyWiki text import in TiddlyWiki format 06-02-2014d0912 --How can I import text files so that they are automatically recognized in the TiddlyWiki format. I know I can drag and drop text files into TiddlyWiki. However, if I have double brackets around a word, the word is not recognized as a link. I can manually change the file type to the TiddlyWiki format, and then the double quotes are recognized as a link. However, how can I set things up so that when I import a collection of text files into TiddlyWiki they are automatically recognized in the TiddlyWiki format? --https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/Tiddlywiki/MSwrbxh71gw ---My reply: It works! I changed the extension of the text file from txt to tid, put a title and modifier entry at the top of the file as demonstrated in the link you gave, and then when I imported the files tiddlywiki formatting (such as double brackets around words to specify links) was recognized. Thanks a lot! ----See this link for formatting info: http://tiddlywiki.com/#TiddlerFiles { title: sometitle modifier: (this can be blank) some text with tiddlywiki formatting such as a [link to another page] } ----------- giewiki -- borrows heavily from TiddlyWiki 2.4.1, but is stored online using Google's web-based App Engine free hosting enviroment.
