-I like to turn everything off except for my "dt" time in the Text Expander section and Ctrl + Insert to keep a Window Always on Top + in the Shortcuts section
-Turn off the F12 macro recording; Tools->preferences->macro recorder->record shortcut->delete what is there and save
-transparency option (use a program called Peek Through http://www.lukepaynesoftware.com/projects/peek-through/; I like to set the start shortcut to Shift+F6 and the transparency level to low)
