The proper way to dilute the peptide will depend on the intended application and concentration. We test the solubility of the product in 1 mg/mL of water. At higher concentrations, DMSO may be required. Generally, DMSO is fine to use as a solvent for cell culture as long as the final DMSO concentration is less than 0.1%. I suggest that choice a solvent based on a published reference that most closely matches your intended application. Furthermore, you should always include a "vehicle control" in your experiment where you add only solvent to the sample. I hope that you find this information helpful. In some papers, I see that they dilute the peptide in DMSO. However, in some other papers, I see that they dilute the peptide in PBS. In these cases though, I'm not sure if they had a DMSO stock first which they diluted into PBS. I plan perform a T cell killing assay in which the target cells are first pulsed with this peptide. Should this peptide be diluted in DMSO, or will the DMSO harm my tissue culture cells. Thanks for any help you can offer me! * Customer_Information **
