I met with Stephen today about my presentation tomorrow.

He is extremely focused on determining whether the SMC1fs transcript was
in my cDNA library and whether it is on my array. I know I have some old
data on this that I'll have to dig up, but it looks like I may also need
to do some further investigation as well.
He also thinks making a new library may not be necessary since the
frameshift information is at the end of the transcript anyway which is
what I have. He thinks that if I really want to pursue making another
library that I need to quantitatively prove that it is really necessary
to create a new library to find what I want. I'll have to spend some time
thinking about this.
Perhaps I could just find the clone on the array that has SMC1fs
naturally, deconvolute that to the single clone, and be finished with
graduate work with that set of experiments.

look at representation of library

see if several peptides all line up with the exact same part of the
transcript/protein sequences of the proteins rather than the distribution
of alignments

compare HER2 with 4T1 signature
