Letter to companies about phage display vector
2015-01-13
azim58 - Letter to companies about phage display vector Hi _ representative, I need to construct a phage antibody library, and I am wondering if you sell a plasmid that is suitable for this. The plasmid would need to be similar to the plasmids used in some phage library papers. For example, one such plasmid is the Phen1 plasmid. I need the following features. 1. The plasmid has SfiI and NotI sites for cloning my gene. My gene will be a scFv (single chain fragment variable) gene. 2. The inserted gene will be expressed as a fusion with the p3 phage protein so that the gene can be displayed on the phage (I have an M13 based phage in mind). 3. The plasmid has an f1 ori or an M13 ori or another origin of replication compatible with incorporating the plasmid into phage. Do you sell any plasmid that would work for these requirements? Thanks for any help you can offer me.
