Identifying T lymphocytes
2015-01-13
azim58 - Identifying T lymphocytes So far I am having a hard time finding information on how to easily identify T lymphocytes. Maybe I am looking incorrectly or maybe it just is a little difficult to find this information. This is probably the better paper I've found but it's confusing and I need to look into the resourced they have used (the methods part isn't very detailed) but now Debi is here to eat and I'm starving! http://www.jimmunol.org/content/112/1/420.full.pdf+html?sid=ce46fef2-320e-4 a3d-9360-be4892a95b56 I'm also even having problems finding a good estimate of the size of a human T lymphocyte... Sigh. I'll keep working on it, perhaps with some direction from you, once I have food in my belly. Oh and the only thing i've really seen for that is that T lymphocytes are about the same size as red blood cells which are 9um. http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Cell_Biology/Introduction/Cell_size -Kurt: If you've found that they are about the same size as a red blood cell which is about 9 um, then it seems like you are basically done and now you can make the scale bars.
