There's also the Go Fit gym which looks much larger and more modern.  However, it is farther away (4.6 km or 50 min by walking), and the cost is about 66 euro per month.  There is a swimming pool there too.

There's also the Castellana Sports Club near the Chamartin
-This is kind of a nice place deep inside a rundown train station/hotel (some parts are nice some parts are rundown).  However, there is no pool here.

-the swimming pool right next to La Vaguada is probably less busy than Vicente del bosque or La Maso.  However, it was still very busy when I went there on 10-13-2014d2237.  The pool also doesn't open until 9am.
