use Cre recombinase to shuffle V genes in the scFv format, a lox site
must be placed between the VH and VL genes, which requires a translated
lox site as a protein linker.

These results indicate
that recombination induced by Cre recombinase can be used to
shuffle VH and VL genes between different phagemids,

mixed Vh and Vl scFv still bind antigens well

they use V BASE (immunoglobulin V gene databse) to id the heavy and light
chain genes
