I'm thinking about using Amazon S3 to start storing my data.  However, I am concerned that too much data could get stored into it or there are too many requests from it resulting in a large charge that I have to pay.  Is there some way that I can limit the total amount of data that can be stored in a bucket in S3?  Also, is there a way that I can limit the total amount of data downloaded from a bucket in S3?  This way I will know I won't be charged more than a certain amount.  Thanks for any help and information you have to offer me!

S3 Bucket sizes cannot be pre-set but you can use Amazon CloudWatch to monitor your AWS service charges and receive billing alerts, making it easier to manage costs and to avoid exceeding budget limits. To set up a billing alert:

2. Click Preferences in the left navigation pane.
3. Click on the checkbox beside Billing Alerts.
