Alternative Methods for Testing this Hypothesis

* Just keep doing aged vs young splenocyte vs stem cell experiments in
  more detail. For example, look at the effect of adaptive vs innate
  immunity. Also, I could isolate progenitors that express
  carcinoembryonic self-renewal associated genes (see stem cell comments
  from John 1-24-13)
* Vaccinate mice with telomerase and determine if healing rates decrease
* SCID mouse experiment
  o measure healing rates in mice with SCID

* ELISA and ELISPOT against stem cell antigens
  o telomerase may be a good antigen to choose

* Immunosignature of old compared with young
  o Perhaps entropy of immunosignature (distributions of peptide
    intensities) could be a good thing to measure

* Tolerance induction (engineered dendritic cells)
  o induce tolerance for stem cells or stem cell markers

* Replace immune system
  o take away old immune system and replace it with fresh cells
